Studded Nails

After my 'dabble' in nail art (check out my Galaxy Nail post) I have decoded to post a tutorial on how to do studded nails. Personally I get stressed out just painting my right hand, however, studded nails are far the easiest 'Art' i have done and they always come out looking half OK, which is always a bonus!

Tools

Nail Varnish
Orange Stick
Glass of water
Gold Bullion Beads
Top Coat
Paper Towel

STEP 1
Paint nails.

STEP 2
Empty some of the Bullion Beads onto the paper towel.

STEP 3
Paint the nails with the top coat (Not quick dry as we need the nails to be tacky when adding the beads)

STEP 4
Using the Orange Stick (wet first to collect beads easier) dot the beads on the nail, starting in the middle and work down the nail.

STEP 5
Continue this process form left to right keeping the beads symmetrical.

STEP 6
Continue the process on each nail.

STEP 7
Finnish off the look with another layer of top coat, sealing the bullion beads in place.

Let me know how it goes

Much Love H x

  2. Hey, I got mine from Ebay for like £2, you can get them from Superdrug but they only do multi coloured ones, just search for Gold Bullion Balls on Ebay and loads come up. They look really good don't they!
